The Eggbutt prevents the horse from being pinched in the lips/corners of the mouth by the bit rings and provides a more stable feeling against the face. It also prevents the bit from sliding through the mouth. The release is somewhat slower, and it also applies slight pressure on the neck.
The Comfort thin mouthpiece has the same design as the Comfort Bar but is thinner. Recommended for horses that do not have very spacious mouths, as well as ponies. The Weymouth bit in this model has become very popular for horses that have difficulty accommodating both the thicker type of curb bit and the bridoon bit in the mouth. Pony bits are delivered with an appropriate size of the side piece.
This mouthpiece is not suitable for horses that chew on the bit. Therefore, the bit is not covered by warranty or right of complaint if damage has occurred due to the horse chewing on the bit.
