Pelham is a classic bit that is very popular for, among other things, hot and strong horses. It applies pressure to the neck and lower jaw, how much depends on the length of the shanks (5 or 7 cm). It can be used with a delta or with double reins and with or without a chain, which provides many options to change the bit's effect and sharpness.

Thanks to the bit discs, there is no direct contact between the side parts and the horse's mouth, perfect for horses that react to metals! To be on the safe side, there is a steel wire inside the super soft material in Beris Prime. Horses have changed over the past decades, and breeding has become more specialized, resulting in more sensitive horses. Riding has also changed a lot over the years, and therefore we as bit manufacturers want to offer a bit that suits the most sensitive.
