The mouthpiece is a two-part Sweet Iron with Fager's smart FSS locking (Fager's Smart System).

With this technique, the bit locks upwards and forwards to create a bit with limited flexibility in the horse's mouth. This provides calmness to a horse that has difficulty trusting the bit and seeking honest support in the bit.
