KEP Helmets are continuously tested, out of every 1000 helmets that KEP produces, ten are randomly tested at the British Standards Institute, ensuring quality and safety are guaranteed. KEP is the only helmet in the world with five different safety certificates. KEP helmets are continuously tested and have the certificates:
- CE EN 1384 + VG1
- SEI/ASTM: F1163
- BS EN 1384:2012 KITE MARK
- IC MARK 1384:2012
- PAS 015:2011
After the EU's removal of certificate EN1384, all KEP’s helmets immediately received the temporary certificate EN1384 + VG1 and are thus still approved worldwide! Currently, only KEP Italia and Charles Owen have obtained these certificates, and there is a production stop for all other brands.
Ventilation
The patented “Air Control System” developed by KEP allows you to regulate the ventilation in the helmet, ensuring the helmet always feels comfortable and cool.
Lining
The inner pad in the helmet is easily replaceable, which means a larger or smaller size can be created without needing to buy a new helmet. The inner pad can be washed at 30 degrees, and extra inner pads are easy to purchase.
Chin strap: The helmet has a patented five-point buckle, which ensures the helmet cannot move forward. The chin strap is made of anti-allergic and washable soft leather and is easy to adjust.
