Even the Juniors have their own riding skirt! With the same principle as the women's skirt, these are designed to keep the juniors warm both in the stable and on horseback. A long two-way zipper at the front and a long zipper at the back make it easy to adjust the skirt for riding. Just like the women's skirts, this one also has elastic leg straps to keep the skirt in place while riding.
The skirt can withstand some moisture, but it is not waterproof. It has a water column of 1000mm and a DWR impregnation. It has a lining of a type of synthetic down called See Energy, which has properties very similar to bird down but is much easier to handle and wash.
The skirts are normal in size and should fit "just right" tight; if they are too tight, they easily ride up when you move.
