The helmet is made of ABS material that is shock-absorbing and distributes the energy that occurs upon impact to properly protect the head by spreading the force over the helmet.
The inner shell is made of EPS (expanded polystyrene) which absorbs energy by compressing upon strong contact. This makes the inner shell firmer after a fall and therefore does not offer the same protection a second time.
It is therefore important to replace your helmet after a fall (applies to all helmets on the market).
The 4 ventilation holes at the front and 2 at the back offer good air circulation that keeps you comfortable under the helmet.
The Eclipse sun visor is designed to provide the user with protection against sunlight and bad weather while keeping the view unobstructed.
