Eggbutt in leather from Beris
A leather bit is often very appreciated and accepted by many horses that easily become restless in the mouth. The leather bit encourages the horse to seek better support and promotes saliva production. Many young horses that do not quite know what to do with the bit in their mouth tend to latch onto a leather bit much better than many iron/steel bits.
This bit is soft and flexible and therefore sits very gently in the horse's mouth with even pressure. The fixed rings make the bit more stable and also encourage the horse to seek better support.
Before using the bit for the first time, it should be soaked in cooking oil until the leather is fully saturated. Repeat this when the leather starts to look dry again. Rinse the bit thoroughly after each use and wipe it off as saliva can shorten the lifespan of a leather bit.
- Ring size: 6 cm.
- Thickness: 20mm
The leather material is not suitable for horses that chew a lot on the bit. The bit is therefore not covered by warranty or right of complaint if the damage has occurred because the horse has bitten the bit.
