This safety stirrup is made entirely of certified anodized aluminum, except for the plate which is made of stainless steel.
The wide footplate is made of stainless steel with spikes to provide a good grip despite wet weather or slippery soles on shoes/boots. Long grooves in the plate allow dirt and gravel to fall through so you can always feel you have a good hold.
The width of the footplate provides a relieving sensation for the soles of the feet, ankles, knees, and hips.
The outer arch opens from the lower part and has a reliable "one-click" system that closes again when the pressure decreases. A small raised edge on the outer lower edge of the footplate prevents the foot from accidentally sliding out and opening the arm.
