2 1/2 ring bit with Happy Tongue from Bombers.

Multi-ring bits introduce poll pressure and also create a bit of leverage on the mouthpiece. The 2 1/2-ring version is the gentlest version of multi-ring bits because the 1/2-ring provides less pressure compared to a full ring below the large ring.

Happy Tongue is a stable mouthpiece. It is curved with a port that provides maximum tongue relief. This is Bombers' most successful design by far – recommended for all young horses and those showing sensitive signs. The 4 available ports have been scaled according to each width. This ensures an exact fit over the bars and eliminates the gap that occurs when the port is too wide. Happy Tongue is also available as a straight mouthpiece which is slightly stronger.
