Eggbutt from Bombers.

Eggbutt prevents the horse from being pinched in the lips/corners of the mouth by the bit rings and provides a more stable feeling against the horse. Eggbutt keeps the bit still in the horse's mouth. The Mullen is a fairly sharp mouthpiece that applies direct pressure on the tongue. Suitable for older, strong horses. Helps the horse to lower its head.

The mouthpieces are made of sweet iron and brass and are shaped to distribute pressure over a larger area, rings/shanks are made of stainless steel.
