ChondroBas is a feed supplement researched by veterinarians. And it is a completely Withdrawal-free product. It is an updated version of Chondrogen.

ChondroBas is recommended for the training and older horse to promote optimal joint function and contains high molecular weight hyaluronic acid together with chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine sulfate. These three components are naturally found in cartilage and work synergistically for the joint to function normally.

The natural occurrence of glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate decreases with increasing age and when the horse's joints are subjected to stress.

Hyaluronic acid is naturally found in the joint where it has the following functions:

• Lubricating function of joint cartilage and joint capsule
• Shock-absorbing for all structures of the joint under load
• Transport of nutrients and waste products

Dosage: Initially, give 1 scoop twice daily per 500 kg body weight for one week. Then give 1 scoop once daily per 500 kg body weight for one week or longer. When the desired effect has been achieved, give 1 scoop every other day per 500 kg body weight as a maintenance dose. The powder is given in connection with feeding. Powder with molasses flavor for easy administration.

Other ingredients: Natural flavoring, brown sugar, molasses, silicon dioxide, and sucrose.

Pregnancy and lactation: Experience with treatment of pregnant and lactating mares is lacking.
